Job Profile :
We seek a skilled Resource Manager to ensure optimal resource allocation and management across projects while maintaining alignment with business goals and objectives. The role requires close collaboration with project delivery, hiring teams, and management to address resourcing needs, performance tracking, and cost optimization.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in resource management, preferably in the IT services sector.
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
Responsibilities :
1. Resource Allocation & Planning:
o Collaborate with project delivery teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring timely availability for projects.
o Monitor resource utilization, resolving conflicts and reallocating resources as priorities shift.
o Leverage available resource management tools to forecast needs and optimize allocation.
2. Workforce Optimization:
o Analyze current skills and suggest cross-training programs to meet project-specific requirements.
o Strategize the effective utilization of bench resources to minimize downtime.
o Identify skill gaps and coordinate with the hiring and L&D team to address future resource demands.
3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
o Track the performance of resources and propose measures for improvement.
o Provide regular updates to management on project health, resource allocation, and revenue impacts.
o Implement systems for real-time reporting on resource availability and capacity.
4. Budget & Cost Management:
o Partner with project teams to manage budgets, forecast costs, and implement cost-saving measures.
o Ensure adherence to financial constraints while maintaining quality and efficiency in resource deployment.
5. Operational Efficiency:
o Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for resource management.
o Work closely with leadership to ensure alignment of resources with business objectives and project timelines.
6. Collaboration & Communication:
o Act as a liaison between various teams (delivery, hiring, and management) to streamline resource-related processes.
o Communicate effectively across departments to ensure clarity and resolve conflicts proactively.
7. Technology Proficiency:
o Use and recommend resource management tools and software, such as Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM platforms, to enhance operational efficiency.
o Stay updated on best practices in resource management to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Proficiency in using resource planning and CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred).
