- Data from the PPM tool, and the clinical trial management system was integrated into the Starburst database, creating a unified data foundation. Custom BI dashboards then pulled insights from the database to deliver centralized, comprehensive, and actionable reports.



Business Case
A mid-sized pharma organization recognized a growing need to improve how they managed and tracked clinical trial studies across various development phases. Their existing reporting system relied heavily on manual processes with specific users creating ad hoc reports, curated and distributed among clinical, product teams, and senior leaders.
With a growing portfolio at different stages of development, it became increasingly challenging to maintain a clear, centralized view of study progress, development milestones, and long-term strategic goals.
Reporting was time-consuming, with updates on Spotfire.
