In the case of dashboard and data in spreadsheets, reports and charts can only be viewed. There is no way a user can interact with the information provided therein. However, visual data possesses interactive tools which help users to directly interact with data. Moreover, data in uni-dimensional reports are mostly a couple of days or weeks old, thereby affecting the accuracy and usability of data. While in the case of visual data, visualization tools and predictive analytics can be used to read and interpret real-time data as well.
