Business Case

A global pharmaceutical company with diverse R&D projects was looking for a scientific data management solution that would work as a centralized repository for all data needs. The organization had various mechanisms to capture and store scientific data- all in different formats. Most often, these formats were not supported by the IT systems making it very difficult to search and retrieve data from a single, centralized location. This inevitably led to scattered data sets wherein a lot of data was made redundant.
