Job Description
Responsibilities:
PreSales
This role focuses on building RFPs by thoroughly understanding client requirements and collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to develop a winning solution
Single point of contact accountabilities
Bring the latest knowledge and best of content to each opportunity (e.g., industry trends benchmarking, competitive insights, etc.)
Help shape the overall solution (approach, team, pricing, differentiators, etc.) to fit the deal requirements best
Engage with clients or sales team to understand the purpose of the proposal, the requirements and expectations of the client
Work with internal teams and get relevant data/inputs for preparing documents such as RFP responses, client presentations and collaterals, participating in the customer calls to sell solutions etc.
Prepare the RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and presentations. Write, edit and finalize each section of a proposal, ensure the content matches the RFP
Develop and deliver tailored presentations that highlight the business value and ROI of the solution
Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and client needs by translating complex features into business benefits
Solution Planning and Deal Shaping for Qualified Deals
Ensures communication among all the parties throughout the proposal process
1. Strategy
Conduct ongoing research to identify which companies to target over the next 6-12 months
Prepare for and support first conversations with potential clients
Analyze the competitive landscape to refine value propositions and differentiate offerings in the clinical and life sciences domain
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, and delivery) to shape go-to-market strategies and positioning
Skills Required:
Prior presales experience in the IT or Life Science industry is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills Good to have:
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
Strong time management and ability to work under pressure Other requirements (please specify such as overtime, etc.)
Must be flexible with work hours according to business needs
Must have good internet connectivity and distraction-free environment for working at home, in accordance with local guidelines
Creates RFx outline compliant with client requirements.
Creates proposal schedule including milestone reviews, production, and submission.
Collaborates with deal sales leadership team to determine and assign proposal team roles and responsibilities.
Plans the proposal review milestones and ensure there's no deviation.
Facilitates flow of deal information across all proposal support resources.
Escalates issues and risks to deal sales and leadership.
Collaborate with the sales team, practice managers, vertical heads, and delivery leads and engineers to design customized solutions that address the unique requirements of each prospect. Provide technical expertise and recommendations during the solution design process.
Ideal Candidate:
MBA or M.Pharma, Bachelor degree with total 4+ years of Life Science Industry In which 2 years should be in the Presales function.
Work with Sales and Solutions team to help define/refine sales messages and ensure proposal packages are developed and messages communicated to sales team
